Ajay Marshall is a talented musician, photographer, and director. He has honed his skills behind the lens by capturing all content for Nashville based artist Andie Case and collaborating with other talented artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Matt Cutshall, and Anna Clendening. Ajay’s portfolio includes music videos, artist and band photoshoots, as well as artwork for the music industry. His creative vision and dedication to his artistry have made him a sought-after photographer and director in the music scene.
He wanted a new website to attract clients outside of Instagram’s ecosystem. He needed a website that was clean and professional, and he wanted to incorporate GIFS to showcase the music videos he directed.

We converted video files to gifs to use them as clickable thumbnails to emphasize Ajay’s “motion” work. From using this technique we learned gifs are very heavy (large data files), Adobe’s video to gif conversion tool isn’t 100% reliable, and the gifs also require additional compression before uploading to the website. If we were to replicate a similar feature we would use mp4 (or another modern video format), although this still needs to be tested with Elementor’s video widget.
